NIGERIAN TRAGEDY

Has anybody heard of the over 2000 souls gone in Nigeria?

Well everybody now on social media wants to act like they're  bringing attention to the Nigerian massacre by bringing out a negative comparison between Western reaction of CHARLIE HEBDO (Je suis Charlie) and this Nigerian tragedy.

The bitter truth is, just like the Bring Back Our Girls campaign, many Africans and Nigerians and Media waited for Western leaders and media to bring it to the limelight before getting engaged in the name of holding poster, placards etc.

Make no mistake the Je Suis Charlie match and outbreak has been extensively covered by French Media and Championed by the French President, Officials and Citizens before the rest of the world has followed in.

The real question here to be asked is, Nigeria where is your President, Officials, Media, Celebrities, Citizens to champion against this act of malice since it happened a week ago? Busy with Presidential campaigns while your people die then you realize you have no people to rule (Most African countries have RULERS and not LEADERS).

If you want to add to that, where are the African leaders to support? Every African leader can relate to the Western countries but yet cannot relate with there fellow African brothers (Charity Begins at Home) and remember Together We Stand, Divided We Fall.

In my country we have the saying "Tiko drink Kumba drunk" in summary Course and Effect principle. But in this case you don't expect a Nigerian tragedy to trigger a Western reaction without a spark from the people themselves rather Nigerians and Africans as a whole Wake up and show Solidarity and stop playing the blame game which has failed for years.

In all am just saying, this is my humble opinion.

Remember to Pray for one another. JESUS SEES, HEARS and ACTS.
