Air Tanzania successfully migrated PSS and DCS

Air Tanzania has completed the cut over of its reservation and passenger service system to Crane PAX provided by Hitit Computer Services.Air Tanzania has also started to use Hitit’s departure control system Crane DCS. The carrier is Hitit’s second airline customer in the country and its seventh in the African region.

The flag carrier of Tanzania, chose Hitit Computer Services to support its services with several airline IT solutions. According to the cooperation; Crane PAX and Crane DCS, powered by Hitit, have started to be used in its reservation and passenger service system and departure control system. By using the Crane systems, Air Tanzania replaced their manual processes to digital processing and distribution. It could be approached as a capability for being improved significantly against its competitors.

Hitit, one of the top five in the field of airline IT solutions all around the world, has been focusing on African carriers for the last three years and has increased the number of its partnerships to seven with the agreement signed by Air Tanzania. With this perspective, Hitit’s competitive solution will open a new dimension to Air Tanzania in order to be a center of excellence in the airline industry, exceed customer expectations and create value in its country and region.
